4. And speaking of food, while you're at home, you can learn all the family recipes.
Because making ramen in a coffee pot is now frowned upon, not celebrated.

5. Whether you have a job or not, coming home to a hot meal is kind of amazing.
Just be sure to do the dishes, freeloader.

6. And when you do land a job, you'll discover leftovers make work lunches a breeze.
Your coworkers will make fun of you/be jealous.

7. And that living rent free is nothing short of amazing.
There’s nothing more satisfying than making it rain in your childhood bedroom.

8. You’ll be buying everybody drinks, moneybags.
Another round, barkeep!

9. And when you come home crying because you're not sure what you're doing in life, you'll have a built-in support system.
No one said being a freshman at life was easy.

10. You’ll finally understand the point of ironing.
And you'll worship your mother for ironing all your work and/or interview clothes.

11. When you do finally decide to move out, you'll be super excited.
You'll know when the time is right.

12. And slightly depressed.
All good things must come to an end. Free laundry included.

13. But you'll be well-prepared for life on your own.
So long as your parents answer all your Facetime calls.
