Chicago Blackhawks defenseman Niklas Hjalmarsson couldn't talk after taking a puck to the throat in Game 2 against the Minnesota Wild on Sunday.
Before Game 3 on Tuesday, Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville told reporters that Hjalmarsson wouldn't be able to speak but he would be able to play, per CSNChicago.com. He will also wear something around his neck during the game.

The 26-year-old needed some help getting back to the bench after getting hit . But it wasn't long until he was back on the ice and he didn't miss a shift for the rest of the game, reported NBCChicago.com.
