Though Chicago is getting a break from the arctic temperatures the city has had to deal with in recent days, the Windy City's expected to get another blast of wintry weather just in time for the Friday evening rush hour commute.
ABC Chicago reports the expected high temperature of 29 degrees on Friday means a respite from the frigid cold but, beginning around 6 p.m. this evening, the Chicago area -- especially the area south of I-80 -- could see between 4 and 6 inches of snowfall between Sunday afternoon, according to the Chicago Weather Center.
The city is expected to see slightly less snowfall -- between 2 and 4 inches, according to the Associated Press, and the northwest suburbs could see between 1 and 3 inches, WGN reports. At the winter storm's height, a half of inch of snow may fall per hour.
