Washington, D.C., went to the polls on election night Tuesday and voted to legalize marijuana for personal use. On his show Wednesday, Stephen Colbert pointed out that this might be the best thing for President Obama, who will probably need to take the edge off after those damaging midterm elections.
"You're looking at two years of a Republican House and Senate," said Colbert. "What's the worst that could happen? You get high, and nothing gets done."
You may now commence referring to D.C. as our nation's "Dank Chronic."
"The Colbert Report" airs Monday through Thursday at 11:30 pm ET on Comedy Central.
