It's a new year, and several little ones were born shortly after the clock struck midnight on Jan. 1. Here are some of the new babies born on the first day of 2016:
Zayden Noel was born to Stephanie Diaz at Coney Island Hospital, Brooklyn, New York, at the stroke of midnight. The healthy infant weighed 7 lbs. 1 oz.
Key'Asia Adams was born to Kadedra Davidson and Darius Adams at Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston, Texas, just as the clock struck 12 a.m. She weighed in at 5 lbs., 0 oz.
Jaylanie Rodriguez was born at 12:01 a.m. at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Chicago, weighing 5 lbs., 10 oz., to mother Aliyah.
Mason Dallas Stewart was born, weighing 7 lbs., 7 oz., to Charisma Grandberry and David Stewart at 12:03 a.m. in the Karmanos Birth Center at Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak, Michigan.
Tricia Navarro-Caraballo and Chris Caraballo, from Brooklyn, New York, welcomed their 9 lbs. 2 oz. baby boy into the world at New York Methodist Hospital at 12:09 a.m.
Rosana Alvarez gave birth to her daughter -- who weighed 6 lb., 4.9 oz. -- at NYC Health & Hospitals Lincoln facility in the Bronx, New York, at 12:22 a.m.
Ava was born at 12:40 a.m. to Amanda and Mike Bentley from Greenwood at Saint Francis Hospital, in Indianapolis.
Caleb was born in El Paso, Texas, at 1:19 a.m. He weighed 7 lbs., 13 oz.
Ella was born at 3:25 a.m. to Nam and Sarah Hoa, from Fishers, at Community Hospital North in Indianapolis.
